Private time together

What a cremation with private viewing involves

This option is for families who want to see the person and spend private time with them before cremation, without necessarily arranging a formal public ceremony.

Once release is authorised, Serenity brings the person into our care, completes the appropriate preparation and presentation, agrees a private appointment with the family and then coordinates the cremation and return of the ashes.

The viewing can take place at our funeral home or another confirmed appropriate setting. We explain what is possible based on timing, condition, documentation and the family’s wishes.

A viewing can remain simple

Some families want only a short, quiet appointment with the closest relatives. Others want flowers, music, photographs or more time. We confirm what is appropriate and practical.

A ceremony can still be added

A private viewing can be combined with a religious or non-religious ceremony. We can explain the cremation-with-ceremony option and provide one written arrangement for the full farewell.
